Personal
I am originally from a small town in Northern New Jersey. I grew up passionate about sports, music, news and entertainment, and somehow ended up working across those fields. I graduated from Boston College in 1996 and then moved to Brooklyn, NY, where I lived for six years. After living on the East Coast my entire life (save a few years in LA as a baby), I moved out to the Bay Area on New Years Day 2005 and lived in San Francisco for eight years before moving to San Jose where I’ve now lived for six years. I have a ten-year-old dog named Bennett. I am a massive music fan having collected vinyl records since I was a child (just about to cross 1500 records in total). My sports teams, all of whom I follow very closely, are the Yankees (Cole!), Knicks (Yikes), Steelers (basically always good), Louisville basketball (#3 as of this writing) and, of course, Boston College (not so great). My favorite movies are You Can Count on Me, Being There and Rushmore. My favorite records are Bruce Springsteen’s “Darkness on the Edge of Town",” Richard Buckner’s “Devotion & Doubt” and Uncle Tupelo’s “Still Feel Gone.” My favorite books are Bill Morrissey’s Edson and Albert Camus’ The Fall.
